First time?

If your new to church, or just our church, its always a bit intimidating going somewhere new for the first time.

Hopefully, we can answer a few questions here to help you understand what to expect for your first time.

If you have any questions that aren’t answered here please fill out a connection form and we’ll get back to you with an answer as soon as we can.

HOW CAN I CONNECT?

EncounterCC has two Services, at two locations, at two different times!
The Shepparton service starts at 10am and Numurkah’s service starts at 4pm.
Please check out their pages for location specific details.
At our front door you’ll meet our greeters as you enter the building. If you mention to them that it’s your first time, they will be happy to help you with any questions, give directions, and gift you a welcome pack.
We don’t have a dress code, your welcome to wear what you feel comfortable in.
But if your not sure, a simple T shirt and pants (or shorts in summer) are perfectly fine.
You don’t need to bring anything other than an open mind.
You can of course bring a bible and a notebook if these help you to focus & learn, but we do how best to communicate the service in an open and understandable way.
You are welcome to keep your children with you in the main service, but if you feel comfortable we have a incredible kids program that you can send them too.
There’s two rooms in our Equip Kids program.
The Little Rockets room for ages 2-4 kinder children.
and the All Stars room for grades prep -6.
We also have a Parents Room for nursing babies, changing them, or if they just need a moment.
While generosity is one of our church’s values, and tithing is a key part of our beliefs as Christians. No, you don’t have to pay anything to be here. The service is our gift you.
We have our own carpark right in front of our building, although it can get a bit cramped so we suggest that you get here a little early to make parking easier for yourself.
There are accessible parking spots available.
We have a live transcription & translation service available through our central hub.
It will transcribe the service into English live on your phone as you watch the service.
We currently offer two language translations. Indonesian and Spanish, if you need another language please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate it
